GOLF COURSES
We grow the highest quality sod for golf course use on greens, tees, fairways and roughs.
It starts with the best seed varieties, including premium Bentgrass, 100% Fine Fescue, Turf-Type Tall Fescue and Kentucky Bluegrass (rough height and low-mow). The selected seed is subject to a variety of testing. Although all seed is BlueTag Sod Quality, we perform our own testing procedures (which are 10x higher than the industry standard) to ensure that only first quality seed makes the cut. We then plant in clean, sterile soil in fully irrigated fields to provide optimal growing conditions.
Although these steps take additional time and patience, the result is well worth it. We produce the best golf course sod available.
SPORTS TURF
To ensure the highest quality and playability, top-performing, wear-tolerant varieties are used.
Premium, high sand-based sports turf is featured on the fields of many professional sports venues including Yankee Stadium, Cal Ripken Stadium, Clipper Magazine Stadium (home of the Lancaster Barnstormers), and the New York Jets practice field. The high sand base makes our sports turf the perfect choice for rootzone compatibility and provides free drainage.
